how to make constantly falling debris?

Hi all,

need some more help,

as the topic implies, need help to make an effect where the area is unstable and you have falling rocks and debris everywhere.
This much like the "rift" mission in JKA on your out after sealing the tomb.

i've look thru the map samples for the rift, couldnt see anything tht helped,
need help plz. =(

Look for fx_runner entities - it's probably an effect. Maybe effects/env/rockfall_noshake.efx?

i see. i was hoping to do change the falling rocks to another material like metal (crumbling factory or smtg).

are there any workaround for this?
maybe func_breakable tht respawn every now and then (cant get mine to respawn btw T_T )

Func_breakable can't respawn. You can use func_usable though - it can have a health if you want to be able to shoot it.

You can also just edit the effect with EffectsEd. It probably uses models for the falling rocks, so you'll need to reskin those to metal - hex editing will probably suffice for that though.
